My Barcelona Experience (August 2017)

The teddy bear is sad.

Words cannot describe what happened in Barcelona on this afternoon of August 17th. Words cannot describe the harm that people suffered on this afternoon of August 17th. It changed their lives forever. Our mind cannot understand what makes men do this.

That's why I tried to find pictures of what cannot be said in words when I visited Barcelona one week after the terror attack. The view from the driver’s cab onto the crowd on the Ramblas. The view through the fence onto the Sagrada Família which was to be destroyed by the terrorists. The sky over Las Ramblas as a silent witness. The great sympathy by the people. The sad teddy bear.

But also how the city tries to prevent this happen again.

It was my tenth visit or so in Barcelona but this time everything seemed different, the city seemed to be paralysed in shock.
